Cant get codes to clear or show codes without crashing

Worked before ios8 now it just crashes whenever I try to pull codes whether it be generic or manufacturer specific.. Needs an update or something. Half tempted to give up on this reader and get a Creader pro instead. Seeing as how each program cost $40, and the unit itself cost $50.. Im already in this unit about $200 for just three manufacturers!!! Thats $100 less than the pro which will read anything and everything with no additional purchases.. Great idea... Awful execution and support..

Today, I purchased and registered this pos. It keeps crashing and can absolutely nothing with it. I should of read the reviews beforehand

Worked fine before ever since i0s 8.0.2 crashes every time it tries to read.

Currently doesnt work with iOS 8. Needs an update. Every time I try to scan with iPhone or my Mini it kicks me out of the app completely. Wish Id tried the dongle before buying VW specific program for an extra 40 bucks.

It was very useful on the fly to read and diag a car. Now nothing. Wont work with iOS 8 and is basically a waste of money I think with a update it would be great. Not for full diag but for basic and repair verification it works great. Please please please update for iOS 8 I would hate to waste50 on a paper weight. My tool guy would be mad too!!

Do the right thing and fix this!

I used to like this tool with older version or ios7 but after I got updated to ios8, tool crashed. Now the ios8 fix from launch is supposed to fix the crash, I lost ownership of my DBScar connector with no way to recover. I own Mercedes Xentry factory tool and I really liked the tool when it worked. Was headed to SEMA 2014 to buy full X431 tool but I am not going to buy as this is garbage.

Finally it works!!!! Hey, its been three weeks, but now it works "almost perfect" on my IOS8 system. It reads, clears code, and live PIDs. I use it on my weekend jobs all the time. The only thing I dont like is it does not support in-app purchase, you need to use your paypal account.

Im a Subaru tech, and this app is the biggest waste of money, it isnt free, the diag systems cost $40 on top of the reader for $100.... Cant get the device to talk to my phone at all, harbor freight has stuff that works better than this. App needs fixed, operating system needs fixed....

Use to work great and was starting to really like it. Then they did a update and it stopped working. Phone connects but the easy diag will not connect to car. Contacted Launch tech support and they emailed me link to download a newer version of the app and it dont work either. This is junk.

This was so far the biggest waste of cash I have ever spent. The app keeps saying network error when I try to register. It doesnt matter if Im on LTE or Wifi.

Launchs registration servers/login servers have been down to two weeks now. The app is useless as you cant even login, which in turn prevents you from using the device. Worthless company, try to call tech support, THEY NEVER ANSWER!

Cant run on my iPhone 6. I have used Launch products professionally for years. Surprised this is a dud. Maybe it will work after a few generations of software?

After update no longer has generic OBD so now you have to buy software

This app and part are terrible. I would like to try the free obd scan before paying for software, I cant get that to work. Getting my money back asap.

Previous versions had a lot of issues with ios8, couldnt even use on my iPhone, But this latest update fixed all the issues I was having

Doesnt work. No communication with vehicle, app freezes. Getting refund. There was an update, now I dont have any of my manufacturers, or the ability to download them. It fails and says download failed. What a major piece of $#!?. Dont waste your money on this thing.

Got it working once the launch servers came back up. Used it on BMWs only so far. Bluetooth communication is a bit slow. Def need the cable for real time sensor readings. Doesnt display readiness monitors. Also service maintenance reset would be great. Electric parking brake service position, EVAP, battery registration, injector calibration and other service functions would be great! All of that would probably be very simple to accomplish through a software update but it would probably make their higher end models a little obsolete
